Lisa LaBarbera Toke is a principal in the firm's Civil Litigation Practice Group. Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from UCLA in 1993. She received her law degree from Cornell Law School in 1996, where Lisa was Senior Note Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law & Public Policy. Following law school, Lisa clerked for the Hon. Alan E. Norris, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and thereafter, she was an associate with the San Francisco Bay Area firm, Michel, Hartman & Fackler, from 1997-2001. Having grown up in San Luis Obispo, Lisa returned to the Central Coast and joined Andre, Morris & Buttery in 2001 and became a principal in 2007. Lisa practices primarily in the fields of business litigation, construction defect and mobile home law.

Lisa is admitted to practice in all of the courts of the State of California, as well as the Central District of California of the United States District Courts.

Lisa is an active member of the San Luis Obispo Bar Association, serving as a volunteer mediator for the Pre-File Mediation Program, is a member of the San Luis Obispo County Women Lawyers Association and is a member of the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast (HBACC) and editor of the HBACC newsletter, Central Coast Builder. In the community, Lisa is the past president of the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum, a member of the Cuesta College Paralegal Program Advisory Committee, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Garden SLO project.
